City Photo Walk – Morning

Separate morning and afternoon photo walks are available. The morning walk is designed to enable you to join the Quarantine Island trip if you wish.

This walk starts at the Wellington Town Hall and follows the wharves north to the intersection of Customhouse Quay and Bunny Street where we cross to spend some time photographing the railway station.

We then head to further photo opportunities at historic Old St Pauls Cathedral (subject to availability) then head back to the city past the Old Government Buildings (the largest wooden building in the southern hemisphere) and the Supreme Court.

Participants can stop at one of the many cafés and sandwich bars en route for morning tea and lunch before returning to the Town Hall or Queens Wharf for the afternoon tours.

Notes

Parts of the walk are up and down hill and there are some steps. However the tour guides will be able to direct walkers to gentler routes.
Participants are free to leave the walk at any point to return to their hotels or linger at areas of particular interest.
