City Photo Walk – Afternoon

This walk starts at the Town hall after lunch and follows the wharves before crossing to Post Office Square opposite Queens Wharf and heading along Panama Street to the Cable Car terminal off Lambton Quay.

We take the Cable Car to Kelburn where there are opportunities to photograph the views over the City before taking one of the many routes down hill through the Botanic Gardens to the Rose Garden and Begonia House.

From here we walk through the historic Bolton Street Cemetery to the Mortuary Chapel before heading back to the Town Hall via the Terrace and Lambton Quay.

Notes

1. Parts of the walk are up and down hill and there are some steps. However the tour guides will be able to direct walkers to gentler routes.
2. Participants are free to leave the walk at any point to return to their hotels or linger at areas of particular interest.
